Originally from Michigan, Dr. Brandi Salazar brings a wealth of knowledge and a warm, personal approach to her work at Lakeside Eye Associates. She began her academic career at Western Michigan University, earning a degree in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Chemistry. Joining the Lakeside Eye Associates team in 2015, Dr. Salazar quickly became a valued member of our practice, focusing on family and pediatric eye care. As an InfantSEE provider, she provides complimentary eye health and vision exams for infants aged 6 to 12 months, helping to ensure even the youngest patients start life with healthy vision. Dr. Salazar also heads our myopia management services, offering personalized care to slow the progression of nearsightedness in children.
Outside of work, Dr. Salazar loves exploring new places and staying active with her husband and two young sons. She’s an avid runner, having completed several half and full marathons, and is a regular volunteer at Crossroads Church in Concord, NC.
